Job Description

Hammock Worldwide is seeking an engaging, friendly, detail orientated Operations Specialist. This individual will support the overall operations of the hotels, including efficiency, training, and back office support. The ideal candidate will have previous hotel supervisory experience, be service focused, ready to lead a team and deliver results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the hotel. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate and oversee hotel operations and accounting duties including: payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, efficiency and overall quality assurance of assigned hotel.
• Ensure all Hammock Worldwide and Brand operations and service standards are achieved
• Ensure excellence in guest relations and service
• Provide ongoing support, guidance and leadership to hotel leadership
• Provide ongoing supervisory support/coverage in all departments as needed

• Assist in management of budget controls and profitability

• Provide support to the Hotel Leadership teams

• Tour and inspect property on a scheduled basis and monitor for property cleanliness, safety and security, product quality and exceptional service throughout
• Provide support to the leadership team regarding talent acquisition
• Work with Corporate Human Resources regarding compliance
• Monitor payroll and assist in efficient operations
• Train and support all hotel leaders and ensure performance in accordance with established Hammock Worldwide standards
• Maintain hotel leadership files and records

• Assist in new hotel leader orientation and onboarding

• Ongoing review of management teams to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures

• Participate in reward and recognition meeting /celebrate hotel leadership achievements

• Establish and maintain open collaborative relationships with direct reports, hotel leaders and General Compliance with Federal & State Labor laws

• Perform technical and administrative duties, including, but not limited to; writing and reviewing reports; e.g. profit and loss, payroll, new-hire and ongoing associate paperwork etc.

• Oversee key control and lost and found. Ensure staff is trained in key control and lost and found procedures for loss reductions.

• Coach and support hotel team to effectively manage payroll and controllable expenses

• Identify service issues and trends. Facilitate creative solutions to overcome obstacles and insure continuous guest satisfaction resultsQualifications

• 1-2 years Supervisory experience in the Hospitality/Hotel industry

• Some Food and Beverage background

• Strong Leader of people

• Meticulous attention to detail

• Proficient in English language/ Bilingual is a plus

• Intermediate to advanced computer skills

• Familiar with common computer software programs

• Must be willing to work holidays

• May require frequent overnight stays

• Some work in office
